I’m excited to perform at the BlackBox Jazz Festival Vocal Edition 2024 on Friday, November 1, 2024. My group and I will play the songs from my latest album “Nothing to Lose” at the “Literary Society Parnassos” venue in the center of Athens.
Radio producer and presenter Manthos Giourtzoglou wrote in his review of my album “Nothing to Lose”:
“It is an autobiographical album (as the creator herself admits) that was written almost entirely (especially the music) during the last period of Irini’s stay in Holland and Belgium and reflects the thoughts, feelings, and images of a woman who marries optimism with melancholy and the poetic mood with realism.” (keepjazzin.gr)
Markos Chaidemenos on piano, Kimon Karoutzos on double bass, Panagiotis Kostopoulos on drums, Roman Gomez on bandoneon and myself (on the mic!) will be happy to see you all there on Friday 1 November, on the last day of the festival!
On the same evening, you will also enjoy the group of saxophonist Dimitris Tsakas featuring the young and talented vocalist Anastasia Konstantinidou.
